Oops, Where The Feck Am I?

Not a good omen as the great project charges on through the icefield with UK left behind and Greece, Spain, Italy grimly hanging on and the former Eastern Bloc members making nasty noises.

Still, it'll be alright soon as the former German defence minister takes the helm and steers the great ship away from danger.
O M G! I've just woken up on a Monday morning after a bad dream. :-o

Please note that Galilio is a European Union success when working correctly. It's an European Space Agency project when it fails. It's also a French success or a European disaster.

It's a bit ironic that John Harrison's H-4 clock was more reliable than the Italian job.

Even his wooden turret clock, which has been running for three hundred years, has never missed a beat.

Why don't we have a word in the English language for schadenfreude?
