How low can you go?
How low can you go?
Cross the threshold at 50'?? Looks pretty flat from way out. I've been there a couple of times and NEVER did it like that!

Remind me not to fly Tus Air (3:00) - all over the shop!
What a Fokker.
What a Fokker.

At least the approach was correct unlike the 'World's Favourite'.

Re: How low can you go?
I used to go into a one way lake with a Beaver on floats, in support of a crew cutting slash for a hydro electric transmission line right-of-way. One could get in with a load, but because of space restrictions you were obliged to come out with no more than a half load. To get in you dragged the floats through the brush on the approach end, while avoiding the occasional boulder, planted the airplane in the water at the very edge, then dumped the flaps to come off the step and slow down. The lake was on top of a hill above a narrow canyon. To get out, one began adding power while taxiing downwind, so that takeoff power was reach as you turned into wind. As soon as you got on the step, you added takeoff flaps to pop the airplane into the air, then dove into the canyon to pick up a safe climb speed. More than one passenger got off the airplane at the other end white as a sheet.
