BA ' emergency landing' in Valencia today

#1 Post by OFSO » Tue Aug 06, 2019 12:45 pm

The ludicrous wording on the BBC site ( which now has been changed) implied that the passengers were evacuated before the aircraft made an emergency landing in Valencia. Which was its destination anyway (BBC).

Watched the playback on Flightradar24, no emergency descent, white fumes in n cabin and cockpit, possibly water vapour? Only unusual thing during evacuation, two slides not deployed? Anyway they avoided any schools, churches and brothels so all is well :D
When all else fails, read the instructions.

The capt should be commended for avoiding brothels and pubs. He had his priorities right.

And the airplane didn't plunge, superb bit of piloting that. Or a stroke of luck.
