Seems like a very specific and small search area for something ejected with some force at not inconsiderable height.

I assume some bits have been located in the area and since it was a fairly significant 'break' I reckon all bits will be there somewhere.

Serious Incident classification?

In 't old days "aircraft rendered unfit for flight" was classed as an accident IIRC.

Doubtless I will stand corrected........
