Dreamliner

BBC just reported 25% of O2 bottles fitted to Dreamliner were defective and that Boeing knew. Also seen on the 'net this morning that defective parts rejected on same aircraft production lines 'disappeared' from reject store.

And this;

Is it coincidence that this whistle has apparently just been blown during the Max fiasco or has the blower been reluctant for other reasons? I can’t so far find a timeline for this one but doubtless it will become apparent.

And suspiciously the Airliners.net entry on a google search says “the requested topic does not exist”.

Reminds me of the halcyon days of USSR and the ‘Pravda’ newspaper........!

Yes Flieg, that’s the old A H F Ducommun scandal as frequently mentioned here and in T O P.

Interesting as you say it’s only the much-maligned A-J network which shows this. Not much about it elsewhere on MSM, but although it’s old news the structural problems have a long term gestation period!
