Grass-track racing at Bangalore

GoAir Airbus 320Neo touches down in ?questionable? visibilty on a Cat 1 approach off to the left of the hard stuff and ingests some of the soft stuff in No1 engine which stalls during the g/a. Diversion to Hyderabad for a safe landing and off to the car wash to get the mud off the left gear. Said to be ex-pat pilot, but not actually flying for GoAir right now..................

Kempegowda Airport has one runway in use with another under construction.

Runway 09/27: 4,000 by 45 metres (13,123 ft × 148 ft), CAT I, ILS equipped.

Below minima, not less than 550 m? Decision height 4 inches below ground level. It is all white outside Captain...
