These photos were on the internet. Whether they belong here or not is not my call. No worries if they need to be deleted.

As for “God is Great”, I doubt it. My sources out here on Ursula Minor tell me He is off in the other side of the Solar System working on Earth Mk2 as the Mk1 was such a f*uckup version.

Is this the sort of ‘news’ which might be relevant? Including the pics showing numerous inward bending holes in much of the structure? And the report stating that the host country won’t allow the recorders out for analysis?

http://avherald.com/h?article=4d1aea51&opt=0

All appears very suspicious when the instant loss of data is alleged.
Your link doesn't show "much of the structure" or "numerous inward bending holes". In fact it shows very little except a couple of "outward bending holes" in the exhaust cone.

Sat-U-Lag do you need corrective lenses?
The most conspicuous inwards facing circular hole is the one in the VS. The fuselage side also displays same evidence.
Other sourced groups of pics show these even better.
I trust that if/when the bodies are released to the Ukrainians they will probably show similar damage.

This blog (NB Beware, I believe is is US based), although badly written, is claiming the nose section of an Iranian TOR-M1 SAM has been 'found' "nearly" the crash site. https://defence-blog.com/news/ukrainian ... ssile.html

Caution seriously advised, if only because I would be surprised if the nose-cone of a SAM would be found 20km or so from where the strike is supposed to have happened. There is, of course, no guarantee that the picture of the nose of 'something' is even relevant.

Was there a flash from the descending burning 737 just before it hit the ground and the big explosion ? Thought I saw one but might be wrong.

The BBC has picked up on the "shot down" theme

More from CBS
"U.S. intelligence picked up signals of a radar being turned on, sources told CBS News. U.S. satellites also detected two surface-to-air missile launches, which happened shortly before the plane exploded, CBS News was told."

NB 'Sources'.

Sheesh.
Ironic really, after their well founded complaints about IR655 falling to a missile from the Vincennes....Now they've gone and done the same thing themselves😱

Yes, but at least we think THEY did it themselves and some rogue USN.

I don't think the US Navy have a presence in the Caspian Sea.

Agreed, but if they did they would probably have collided with something?

The USN is experience to collide with other vessels. But then again it is a way to eliminate the enemy. Maybe we give Iranian armed forces more kudos than they deserve. And again I am wondering with the experience they have (IR655) why they were not more careful if they are involved.

2 missiles, 15kg fragmenation payload. Poor buggers.
