DC-9 off runway

#1 Post by OFSO » Mon Jan 27, 2020 10:30 am

What looks like a DC-9 or possibly a Super 80 appears to have gone off the runway at the city of Mahsahr and stopped on a busy highway. Reports say the "rear wheel broke" - your guess is as good as mine what this means.

All an effort to reduce landing to down-town time, I guess?

Certainly best to take your hand-baggage with you down the slide.

Scrub immigration customs the works just straight to the pub. Brilliant. :YMPARTY:

MD-83. As far as I'm concerned that's a DC-9.
