DC-9 off runway
What looks like a DC-9 or possibly a Super 80 appears to have gone off the runway at the city of Mahsahr and stopped on a busy highway. Reports say the "rear wheel broke" - your guess is as good as mine what this means.
Re: DC-9 off runway
All an effort to reduce landing to down-town time, I guess?
Certainly best to take your hand-baggage with you down the slide.

Scrub immigration customs the works just straight to the pub. Brilliant.
You can just make out the F/O legging it down the road with the drugs.

MD-83. As far as I'm concerned that's a DC-9.
