TGG, girly stuff. The Mk 1 Victors at Butterworth used to depart in the overshoot. UK runways were 1,000ft longer and the temps a bit lower.
The guys in the tower missed the first Vulcan lift off at 4 500feet. They were looking in the wrong place.
