Re: Two seat V-tail
On reading the title I immediately thought of the Bonanza. Wasn't a bad airey.

It's registered as a 'Michael A Cosman LSA', which doesn't tell us much beyond who built it. See:

Re: Two seat V-tail
Many years ago, when flying between Caracas and Miami, a strongly-accented Latino voice came over the radio on the Miami Center frequency saying words to the effect that he was lost. He was asked to transmit for DF and they eventually located him over the northern part of the Bahamas. Of course this caused no small inconvenience to the commercial traffic heading into MIA. The guy eventually sorted himself out - he was headed to Opa Locka, and the controller asked for his details, registration, souls on board, and aircraft type. He gave the answers, with the final one being Bonanza. One of the wits on the the airwaves promptly answered with, "Ain't that the aircraft Buddy Holly died in?"
