So what do you do? Send the F/O out on a rope to fit a new one before landing?

Are the crews trained to land on only 15 MLG wheels?
Do they know how to do that feat? Izzit on the ticklist of the Sim syllabus?
Ok, now listen up, chaps. We're down to the last 17 of our 18 wheels and I need you to cross your chests and to kiss your arses goodbye. Here endeth the approach briefing.

A bit more serious when you're a young, new pilot on your first cross-country solo and you lose one of the only three wheels on take-off.

Assume that it’s arrived safely at Charleston, no reporting on any incidents and the errant undercarriage didn’t cause any damage.
When all else fails, read the instructions.
