You're old when you make excuses for not doing things that you know need doing.
Some days I feel very old. Others, I'm cheerfully youthful.

As old as one feels. The one I feel is 10 years younger than me.
Let's hope the feeling is mutual. :ymdevil:

Like a SWMBO request to vacuum when you know it isn't necessary ( at least by your standards ! )

I have a drivers' licence that is more than 60 years old and I can confidently state that anyone older than me is middle-aged.
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

Old is when most of the names in your personal phone directory start with Doctor.

I have had my drivers licence for 67 years, and I must admit that I am getting the feeling that middle age is catching up with me.

My body is 68 years old.

My brain refuses point blank to accept any number beyond the low 40's! [-X [-X

Further comment escapes me...

I haven't had my Mid-life Crisis yet.
No Harley
No Trophy wife
Nothing that could be construed as a predictor of one.

Too young for it eh?

Not even the young 30 year old lover with a charming giggle? ;)))

Good for you man... :-bd

Let me die a youngman's death
not a clean and inbetween
the sheets holywater death
not a famous-last-words
peaceful out of breath death

When I'm 73
and in constant good tumour
may I be mown down at dawn
by a bright red sports car
on my way home
from an allnight party

Or when I'm 91
with silver hair
and sitting in a barber's chair
may rival gangsters
with hamfisted tommyguns burst in
and give me a short back and insides

Or when I'm 104
and banned from the Cavern
may my mistress
catching me in bed with her daughter
and fearing for her son
cut me up into little pieces
and throw away every piece but one

Let me die a youngman's death
not a free from sin tiptoe in
candle wax and waning death
not a curtains drawn by angels borne
'what a nice way to go' death.

I have gotten my haircut once since Covid waned, mostly because I promised to get it cut before D#2's high school graduation.
I trim it just to keep it out of my eyes.
I look like something between "aging rockstar" and "retired hippy".
No ponytail. I'll leave that to Willy.

Just saw an ad for a T-shirt that read:
It's weird being the same age as old people. :))
