.....I hear from a very unimpressed pax that the flight returned to LHR 3 and a bit hrs into the journey; "auxiliary oxygen system has failed" is the explanation. Does Woody know any more?

Well I suppose that the pax would’ve been even more unimpressed if the aircraft pressurisation had failed and they’d all died from oxygen hypoxia, fairly obvious return to base and rescheduled for tomorrow morning with different aircraft.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

They are still on the a/c waiting for vouchers for hotels and transport. One is American and 67 years old and runs on a short fuse. I love her dearly really.
