Without pre-judging the accident, it is sadly ironic, really, given the AOPA teaching on 'turnbacks'.

I thought the same, but I am guessing he wasn't in command of the aircraft.

They have produced one about the 2021 CL605 Truckee accident.

Very poor CRM, weak leadership, adverse cockpit gradient, pressonitis. Loss of SA. etc.
