https://www.khon2.com/top-stories/fligh ... u-airport/HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaii Department of Transportation has announced that they have been notified that all flights are being grounded at Honolulu’s Daniel K. Inouye Airport.
At 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, HDOT said that a medical emergency precipitated the grounding of all flights from the airport.
This is for both interisland and mainland flights.
The medical emergency is on the ground and not in the air.

Star-Advertiser: Hour-long grounding of flights at Honolulu airport now liftedAll flights in and out of the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu that were temporarily grounded due to a medical emergency in the control tower about an hour ago have been lifted, state officials said.
The temporary grounding was in place starting at about 1 p.m. today, according to the Hawaii Department of Transportation, which received notice of it from the Federal Aviation Administration.
