Re: Truck Driver Goofing at Stansted
It confounds belief that someone was not concentrating enough to realise that the aircraft is bigger than he is. If I had a pound for every time I've seen a vehicle pass behind an aircraft being pushed back with the anti-colls running, I could take all the members of this forum out for a very expensive meal. No doubt the ambulift driver has received his P45 by now, but that's not the point. It is only a matter of time before there is a serious incident somewhere.
The comments mention the aircraft is taxying too fast, but I don't think this is the case. Ryanair had a reputation for taxying too fast, but my understanding is that a note went out, telling crews to observe a 20 mph speed limit, which from personal observation, they do - generally!

Doesn't look like he stopped to exchange insurance details, either.
