A disappointing tour.

Re SA Cricket, when I lived in Joburg, as an unbiased Yorkshireman, I used to attend and enjoy the odd day at Wanderer's.

Be warned SA cricket is very political. The provincial teams are forced to select a number of none white players.

The national selectors are also under great pressure to select a 'representative' team.

Me, when I watched SA v Oz or SA v Windies.

It is quite restful watching good cricket, and not caring who wins. I never come away disappointed.

Best wishes to Sir Richard Hadlee, as he recovers from an operation for bowel cancer. One of the best cricketers that I’ve seen play ^:)^

England will not sledge Australia about their ball-tampering humiliation when they meet in a five-match series which starts on Wednesday, says Eoin Morgan.

Skipper Steve Smith and vice-captain David Warner were banned for a year by Cricket Australia for their part in the saga in South Africa in March.
Why not, hopefully the crowd will give the cheating bar stewards loads :D

Also it’s better than watching the World Cup!

As per usual we did it the hard way, Bohanon looks like a good find, but I think that we’re going to have to beat the Tykes and win our last game to avoid relegation :(

Great Test Match at Southampton, nice to see that batsman are having to play properly, as for a change the wicket is favouring the bowlers.

Something the England batsmen are having trouble doing.

I suppose someone in KZN is happy :((
Yorkshire took the last three Lancashire wickets early on the final morning to seal a potentially crucial 95-run victory at Headingley.

The result means the Tykes leapfrog their Roses rivals, who drop into the relegation zone with one game to play.

Resuming on 109-7, needing another 121 to win, Jack Brooks (4-47) uprooted Keshav Maharaj's leg stump for 18.

Brooks then bowled Graham Onions, before Ben Coad completed a five-wicket haul to leave the visitors 134 all out.

Yorkshire, who began the week in seventh and one point behind Lancashire in the Division One table, are now 14 clear of the Red Rose.

Lancashire, meanwhile, will need to win their final game at Hampshire to have a chance of avoiding the drop and even then, with their relegation rivals enjoying games in hand, they are reliant on other results going their way.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Not happy, rather ecstatic really!

Following play yesterday was a heart lifting experience. It looked like someone had injected some spine into the players.

This morning was more of a formality, but it could have gone wrong.

Switching to Footy, the Championship table is looking rather good. The top 3 from Gods own country.
