Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
You are correct om15, Victor, Colorado it is.
Spent a couple of hours there in 1982 when our hire car split a water hose. Local garage were very helpful and friendly, called the hire car company for authorisation and carried out the repair. We were travelling from south to north and had just traversed the Phantom Canyon Road (Route 67) which even today is largely unpaved. I noticed the temp gauge climbing just as we crested the last rise before Victor and was able to coast down to the town. Had the hose gone 10 or 15 miles earlier we would have been in a pretty isolated spot and with a wife and two small children things would not have been nice!
You have control om15.

First thoughts - looks very Dutch, somewhere in Amsterdam?

Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
it looks very much like Haarlemmerstraat in Leiden that I used to walk up at least twice a day when I was living there but it's not.
So many places in the Netherlands look similar.

Reliving your youth om15? I'm informed by my Son in Law whose been there that it's the (or should that be a) "Hash, Marihuana and Hemp Gallery" in as Smeagol said, Oudezijdsachterburgwal in the Amsterdam red light district.

Thanks om. How about this:
Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
Struggling here, are we in either Germany or Kent?
Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
It's in the UK, not Kent but not too far away. There is an Abbey nearby, yet another that fell foul of Henry VIII.

That looks awful. A hotel in the Mediterranean maybe.
