Robert Dyas has a charming 3m20 by 3m10 potting shed for sale at £1299.99 if the worst comes to the worst. Just need a wee bit of land to erect it on.

After 36 years of Aircraft Engineering standard 7-7 2d 2n 4o and a body that never woke without an alarm, and a bum that had no idea and frequently needed laxative.
Post retirement I wake at 0800 after bed around 0100, and am as regular as clockwork. Wonderful.

Usually up sometime between 4 and 6 am. Just the way my internal clock works. Great in Summer, terrible in Winter.

Overcast at present and 5C. Went down to -1C overnight. Still dry.

Lunch is a Greek style roast cod loin dish ie lots of lemon, garlic and olive oil in the recipe.

Morning folks. 48 hrs to departure for Greece and the internet is playing up and we have a high pressure leak on the solar geyser. Without the former we can't monitor our power system from Greece. The latter is not a problem as there is a stop cock between the tank and the leak.

Broken Cu. The hippos are still with us. It has been about 10 days now. It is usually only a few. As we have no house sitters this year I reckon they are planning to move in for three months. We are on the deepest part of the lagoon so they may be here all winter.

My 12 years in the RAF (1961-73) were spent on a 4 watch system - Day 1 mornings & evenings, day 2 afternoons & nights, day 3 sleep day, day 4 day off. This 42 hour week was OK as it meant I rarely did any secondary duties (orderly cpl, guards, etc) but it was a bit galling when at RAF Sharjah the day staff worked 0700-1300 Mon-Fri which was a 30 hour week!

Looking forward to the coming week - the long awaited next installment of The Chair - although sadly it appears this year without its sequel The Housesitters Saga . Have a great journey Ex-A's.

Yes but it bloody hurts when one uses the cock to stop in mid leak sah esp when the tank is full. 😖 ;)))

You know of course the airport doggies and pussycats would've eaten 'em up and consequently made unhalal dumps all over the place.

Morning. 8.15am. Rained like buggery while me and Ap were out stuffing our faces at a posh seafood restaurant last night. It's that sort of ritzy place you're looked down on as dirt if you ask for tomato sauce (which I did). Very good damn feed though. We managed to get back to the pub without getting soaked. Jasper got our doggy bag. I don't think he's eaten grub as posh.

Will be a mid arvo start at the training centre today and Ap leaves for Chek Lap Kok the same time I leave for work. She's sprawled out cold all over bed so I'll let her snooze awhile before waking her up. We've ordered RS brekky which I've put off till 9am.

Missus agrees with Jasper that I'm getting too fat.

You need to see Aps about working off a few pounds (or kilo's). Fecking asian food will do that to ya...
