Must admit that I watched City v Spurs, as our game wasn’t really a great contest. By the way why does it always rain in Porto?

More tales of VAR and interpretations after last night.
Pep would appear to be sulking and Poch, who doesn't like VAR, happy.

Re: The New Football Thread
Apparently they did the same to Man Utd
Liverpool Football Club can confirm that an allocation of 4,620 away tickets has been provided for the Champions League semi-final clash with FC Barcelona on Wednesday May 1 at Camp Nou.
All away tickets are priced at €119, which is in line with FC Barcelona’s pricing structure for the knockout stages of this season’s Champions League.
As a result, LFC will charge Barcelona supporters a reciprocal ticket price of €119 in the return leg at Anfield on Tuesday May 7. The additional revenue from this higher ticket pricing will be used to subsidise Liverpool supporters for their tickets, reducing the price by €31 to €88.
The club believes parity of pricing is the most logical approach and remains committed to working with UEFA, ECA (European Club Association) and other member clubs with a view to introducing a more structured ticket pricing process for Champions League matches.

Chelsea appear to be trying desperately to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory at the moment.

Re: The New Football Thread
It's been a good season for football fans; the Premier League and European competitions have provided some excellent viewing.
That said, in England, the Championship provides some of the most most competitive football imaginable. This season, one club has proved outstanding... Norwich.
At the beginning of the season they sold most of their recognized players so as to balance the books. They scoured Europe for bargains and made up the first team from an excellent academy system.
The 'best buy' of the decade has to be Pukki who came on a free transfer and became the Championship's top scorer. Bargain or what!
All season Norwich have played attractive football in a division where that is often difficult. It now looks almost certain that the club will return to the Premier League after an absence of three years.
Well done!

City’s to lose now, but United in free fall, don’t think Woodward and Glasers have clue in how to reverse the rot.

They have a lot of injuries now Woody and David Silva should receive a three match ban for his kick in the chest of Pereira, which the hapless and hopeless referee missed, when the FA review the video footage.
Ole must know which big names need showing the exit after last night. Three totally useless substitutes. The players who were taken off were more effective.

Re: The New Football Thread
Ibbie I’ve watched them a few times recently, due to being stuck at home recuperating and the malaise is running throughout the Club , the stadium is becoming run down, obviously the players being purchased are not upto the standard that is required and it’s going to be a long time before you can challenge for the League.
Not gloating because I’m a Liverpool supporter, but now we’re playing well it would be great to go head to head with you.

I see the Arsenal are trying to out-do ManU in screwing it up in the run-in.

Re: The New Football Thread
Maybe Sanchez and Pogba can give them a sub
Bolton Wanderers' players could refuse to play Saturday's Championship game against Brentford if they are not paid by the end of Friday.
Players have still not been paid their March salaries, with April's wages due to be paid on Tuesday, 30 April.
Earlier this month, the players refused to train for 48 hours on behalf of staff after March wages went unpaid.
The Professional Footballers' Association stepped in to help pay wages at the club earlier this season.
Full-time non-playing staff received their March wages after a delay.
BBC Radio Manchester has contacted Bolton for comment, while a scheduled pre-match press conference with manager Phil Parkinson was postponed on Friday with no reason given by the club.

You certainly are lol. It's down to the wire now. Liverpool have had an outstanding season.
On another note Pogba has walked more than ran this season.

Great to hear from you Laser , unfortunately reality is kicking in and I think we’re going to finish with 97 points, which would be enough to win the League in virtually every other season
