Outlook 2010
Outlook 2010
Any M$ sleuths who can tell me how to change the font size on new emails in the header section, ie To/CC/BCC/Subject? I've been all over Google with no success. While I can 'zoom' the message body I cannot do it for the header.

Re: Outlook 2010
Unfortunately not, but thanks. That allows the message 'body' font to change but does not seem to affect he boxes I need! It seems that the whizz-kids at M$ occasionally decide what you should have but don't let you change it, and there is much belly-aching on t'internet about this: It seems that new versions of Office feel it needs to change as well, mainly for smaller!
I wonder if the M$ kids work for Boeing as well........................

Re: Outlook 2010
H1B visas - how US companies have imported vast numbers of Asian workers with qualifications that aren't worth a d@mn and who don't understand the first thing about what they are doing - but they do work for peanuts and never argue.
I just tried to use the latest google docs version to edit some spreadsheets - totally useless. Gave up, downloaded it at home and edited with Office 2010. I am at the point of learning Open Office macro writing so I can dump MS Office completely.

Re: Outlook 2010
- good luck with that! I have been using M$ VBA for a long time and tried over the years to 'learn' OO macro writing with great difficulty, with a view to re-writing my VBA code in OO-speak. There are a couple of 'help' forums but there is one persistent tosser there called 'Villeroy' who believes in anything but 'help'. I have still not mastered it, and when I last checked it was pretty much still 'in development'.I am at the point of learning Open Office macro writing so I can dump MS Office completely.

Re: Outlook 2010
That is precisely why I have also avoided it till now.
Re: Outlook 2010
Interested to hear how you fare! One of the 'disppointments' of the OO macro was that you cannot (?could not then ??) programme it to shut down the whole programme unlike VBA which allowed that.

Re: Outlook 2010
It will be a project for next winter - I have a barn rebuild to complete by the Fall.
Re: Outlook 2010
For next winter - it should be 'LibreOffice' not 'Open Office'.

Re: Outlook 2010
Thank you, I was unaware of the split - LibreOffice looks better long term.
Re: Outlook 2010
Still unable to find a way to increase header font size.

Re: Outlook 2010
I reverted to 2007 as I hated the incipid colours.
Re: Outlook 2010
Yes, but can you alter the header font there? You can change the colours in 2010, by the way.
