Nah, that would drive me insane(r).

TPBM somnetimes questions their own sanity, but not as often as they question someone else's.

Yes Indeed!!!

TPBM also loves the feeling of being razor sharp cleanly shaven, washed and scrubbed and the feeling of clean pyjamas.... :))

True, haven't possessed a nighty for at least 3 decades. Ex-Ascot had to go out and buy a nighty for me 6 years ago when I was in hospital in JNB. It was actually a long t shirt so still gets worn as a scruff dress. :)

TPBM doesn't like hospitals especially if you have to be a visitor.

I’ve always hated bloody hospitals period. Full of sick depressed and dying people. It’s enough to make one a hypochondriac. And I hate that typical sterile hospital smell too.

The only good thing is attractive pretty nurses with large whatsits if you can find ‘em.

TPBM will not go anywhere near a hospital unless at the point of near-death ...and then only with great reluctance.

Absolutely, miserable bloody places and the last place I would want to die although statistically it is the most likely place.

like this?
I asked my wife for suggestions on an exercise routine, and she said "Why don't you try lunges?".

I said, "That's a big step".

Don't know about trouble, but it's not something I enjoy. I've always been an early riser (there you go, have a double entendre), but since retirement I find it much easier when I don't have to.

TPBM believes early morning is the best part of the day.

Yes, I tend to be a morning person, by 5pm things are beginning to drag. It does get a bit cold getting out of bed starting around this time of the year though.

TPBM prefers cooler weather.

After a few Summers in the Gulf I admit yes. My preferred range is 26-30C (night) and 35C-40C by day. That’s assuming a RH of 10% or less in both cases.

TPBM prefers Summer sports rather than Winter ones.

(By Pyjamas I only meant something to scuff around in before bed...)

Well....loving my body surfing right now....powerful fins and home made handboards make for a fun summer sport...though it is still rather chilly in the morning and of course the time it takes for the water temp. to 'catch up'

Had a Russian bloke give me one on one Skiing lessons in Finnish Lapland (Levi / Kiitla) late last year...he was stunned how quick I picked it up...so yeah...I'd like to do more winter sports...just so expensive...

For the next 8 Months at least Ocean Frollicking will be a major recreational pursuit....free diving, longboarding, body surfing, ocean swimming...

TPBM has also discovered some really lovely Gins, unique and delicious and not neccesarily requiring the addition of tonic water...they stand out on their own, taken neat, or with the addition of a singular large ice cube (see post whatever it was re: singular large ice cubes)

He’ll no! I can’t even stand the sight of gins (plus they stink) and am buggered how you found some ‘really lovely ones’ Fliegs! You must’ve been lying around on the Todd recently while absolutely blotto at the time after one too many plaggons blo’. And you say they’re delicious? My godfather mate what sort of hellish depraved acts did you do?? Yuuuck! I’m chundering at the mere notion! 😖

And how a bloody ice cube and tonic somehow improves ‘em is beyond even my understanding! What they need is a damn good shower (with industrial strength soap) and a full delousing. Even then they’d be lucky to register a 0.1 out of 10 on the Bo Derek richter scale.

TPBM is not an Aussie but understands completely what the hell I’m senselessly yabbering on about. ;)))

Slash....was once out the back of Birdsville, and the car had broken down....and I was in a spot of bother, I can tell you...as I was walking back to the servo when I came across an errant truckie sippinn' a few drinks on a rocky outcrop...he shouted out to me fancy a scotch and ice?....I said hell no...just had a Gin on the rocks now the whole damn tribe are after me!!!

Of course Fliegs. The merest inkling of any notion of the thought that you had a gin-jockey endorsement has never crossed my mind in the slightest! =))

October rains started yesterday at home according to the missus. Expecting some seriously wet thunderation for the next few days.

Never had a hangover from Scotch. The only one I've ever had was from bourbon. Never again!

TPBM believes Bourbon is a poor imitation of the real thing.

Bourbon is dishwater.

TPBM agrees.
