There are nearly as many so called International Breaks, as Spanish Public holidays these days.

Re: The New Football Thread
PGMOL want a break to try to repair their version of VAR.
That is clearly broken.
But with Mike Riley in charge, it will always be duff.

I used to support them but stopped because they never came to see me when I was bad.
It's always my fault - SWMBO

Stories about that the Sheik and his family having jumped ship and gone back to their Qatar desert.
They are not very popular with the locals. Basically accused of wrecking the Club this season.
With international call ups, Malaga have been forced to field youth team players to play first team games.

Re: The New Football Thread
Over the weekend there was a match which will possibly determine the winner of the Premier League.
No comment, no gloating, no we was robbed, nothing.
Speaking of which, while aware that he has connectivity issues *Lasernigel* seems to have been absent for a while.
Hope he is OK.

Re: The New Football Thread
Love to hear Ibbie and Lasers comments about VARThe use of video assistant referees (VAR) in Premier League games has been given a mark of seven out of 10 by the man in charge despite strong criticism.
Neil Swarbrick says VAR will evolve and asked for fans to be patient after another weekend of controversy.
Sheffield United had a goal ruled out for a marginal offside at Spurs while Manchester City saw two penalty appeals for handball turned down at Liverpool.
"I'm really pleased, honestly, with how we have started out," said Swarbrick.
Wodders, don’t think Raheem Sterling agrees with you

We are rebuilding. Remember you never win anything with boys!
Youngest team fielded in Premiership this season last Sunday.
As for Sterling, I have never rated him on or off the field. There are others around, given the opertunities he's had, could have done better. He's no loss to England and was no loss to Liverpool.
Now Neil Swearbrick Swarbrick. He should have stayed retired and not been tempted to be head of VAR. He was not that good a referee in my opinion, average, but ten times better than the head of PGMOL, Mike Riley.
Now you can see why VAR is a problem with ham and bud at the controls wearing their rose coloured specs.
They both need replacing PDQ.
