If they had played both halves the the same standard the score would have been 41-0 or 17-34.

Anyone brave enough to make a prediction as to the outcome of the 6N this year?
I think much hinges on what happens at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday.. (Who to support there? Neither of the teams involved are on my like list)
England have to win against Ireland on Sunday..

I've always liked Ireland's style of play - totally commited, brave, adventurous and played with passion. So although they're my No 2 team.. I want England to win..

Thanks PN..

What a great match yesterday at Cardiff.. Both teams played a high tempo game and I thought from the off that France were going to edge it.
The one weakness in that French XV is Teddy Thomas.. A dangerous player if given the ball with space to run into - but defensively he goes AWOL - and his decision-making is suspect. When he and AW-J were chasing down a long kick into the Welsh 22, he tried to pick it up, instead of kicking it on. He would have had the edge over AW-J.
The French have improved out of all recognition.. and must be favourites now for the championship.
For England today, this is the must-win game..

Question of the day: Looking the the fixture list, I see England's final match on 14th March is in Rome - while Ireland visit Paris.
What risk is there that one or both of these matches will be postponed?

Quite good though there are issues with players ' diaries and possibly different teams.

Sorted that out in the next game GG!

I'm sad to read this: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/rugby- ... SUQTWPQCQ/

What a great ref he's been and a credit to the game. Happy retirement Nigel!

Watching an aerial shot of a ball being thrown in at a lineout, viewers could see that it followed a trajectory about the shape of a banana, ending up way outside the lines of players. After blowing his whistle Owens declared "I'm straighter than that throw in!" :YMAPPLAUSE:
Sounds like he's comfortable in his skin after such a difficult start.

The interchange at 0.41 made me laugh:

It’s coming up to six nations and it’s at this time you realise the impact CoVid is having on a couple of hardworking trades people across France and Britain and Ireland... the arse has fell right out of ticket touting and pick-pocketing.... 👍
