Thanks...

Now then, where does a camel store its water?

Obviously not in its hump, unless it's a trick question, so I would guess that it has long-range fuel tanks low in its belly.

Sounds feasible. Has it got a sort of of split stomach?

So a Bactrian camel is the long range version of the Dromedary?

2 Arabian men are riding camels in the desert.

The first man barely has to stop for water for his camel and the other man has to constantly stop for water for his camel. One day, they reach a town and they both go to the water trough where the camels are drinking.

The one Arabian man asked, "How does your camel last so long without water?"

"He sucks up more water." The other man says and laughs.

"How is that possible?" The man asks.

"I bought this camel with long range conversion kit" and he pulls out two bricks from his saddle bag, walks behind the camel, and smashes the bricks together on the camel's balls.

The camel went 'phhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh' as it slowly raised its head towards the sky.

It doesn't hurt - unless you get your fingers trapped between the bricks.

It seems unlikely anyone will come up with the answer which is the camel stores water in its blood.

Open house.

OK, obscure one. What's the name of the genetic process which gives rise to the colouration of tortoiseshell cats?

Anyone who doesn't know but has some time to spare, it's an interesting read on how it works.

Displaying my ignorance here, but I must confess that, having searched on line, I'm really none the wiser. I haven't heard of the gland concerned. :-?
