Re: Coronabollocks..
With New York discussing burying bodies in public parks because the morgues are full can anyone think the direct consequences of the virus, all those extra deaths, will be less significant than the financial consequences of the unavoidable lock downs? Unless, of course, you've been able to persuade yourself that human life is just not worth striving to preserve.Seenenough wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 4:22 pmAre you referring to the virus itself or are you referring to the economic harm that will arise as a result of the virus?Jetex Jim wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 6:17 amSomeone needs to chart the trajectory of Covid-19 Denial Syndrome.Seenenough wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 2:47 amAFRICAPublished 6 hours ago
Africa bracing for ‘complete collapse of economies’ as coronavirus takes its toll.
This is only the start, I fear
How individuals move from 'outright refutation' to 'it can only get worse'.
And how a little schadenfreude influences the rate of change...
Really, it's a pity that you are not a Brit. After the Queen had a little chat last night and finally explained how serious it all is even the most vocal of the usual Denierlogs have been convinced (or at least been persuaded to keep quiet for a while).
Persuading working people to vote against their own best interests is the primary focus of conservative politics.

Plum.
If I survive this, I'll not buy any single thing with 'made in China' on it, and I suggest we all do the same.

A form of Sinetic satyriasis or maybe Atom has been served a disappointing beef chow mein! Either way I sense a genuine disappointment with the Chinese!

Lots of lawmakers here working on at least reducing the buying of anything made in China but us you know there is very left leaning media mod over here trying to still tell us the Chinese and their various publicity agents can be trusted.
Re: Coronabollocks..

Re: Coronabollocks..
Is a 55 year old Prime Minister's life more valuable/important than any other?
Re: Coronabollocks..
Genuine enquiry:-
Is the UK still allowing non-residents to enter? - there are several possible routes, rail through the tunnel, ferry, aircraft.
Asking on behalf of a family member - can't find official information.
