I think their latest pronouncement means that their conduct is now a free-fire zone/open season for those tabloid rags.

Wrong, Daily Snail is full of them this morning. It is like a red rag to a bull. They will go all out to dig the dirt. They don't need to speak to them to report. Just means that they can't defend themselves. More expensive lawyers required.CharlieOneSix wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 11:44 amBrilliant - hopefully we will hear no more of that insignificant woman.
A good (as ever) Piers Morgan write up yesterday, https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... Harry.html.
Trump bans all immigration for the foreseeable future. How does that affect PH?
Did I notice correctly yesterday that Met Royal Protection officers are still over there?

Well, that might be the idea? As no interviews due to more pressing issues, they declare: we won't talk to you, and...

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Does that mean Harry will have to leave the US and leave his first wife in situ.

Perhaps Her Majesty phoned the Donald and said "I've got a cunning plan to rescue the boy. All it needs is for you to......"!!

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
A good plan! I think, on balance, most of us would like him back, un-Meghan'd?
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
It's more likely that as he's in the US he gets to stay, but if he leaves for any reason they won't allow him back.

Thoroughly Modern Royals
Now we have the book https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... oyals.html
Presume film rights will be applied for and she will play herself.
So much for no publicity.

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Apologies, but looking at a program tonight that showed a manicured KA beach with a list etc, it occurred to my that Nutmeg has swapped in one life of gilded luxury and public service for another with gold plated luxury but no more than a gilded cage. No longer could she walk that beach or swim in that sea or behave like a free person .
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
If she tries walking on a beach down there at the moment she might not be a free person.

Is she a good enough actress to play the part?

I’m surprised this thread hasn’t yet featured this great, sorry, terrible news about Nutmeg’s case against the UK press?
And yes, I deliberately chose “Feckoff” magazine so’s Nutmeg fans could drool over the beautiful colour pics of Saint Diana’s successor!

Hopefully we will hear no more...
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
This might be the only good thing the woman has achieved, although in a perverse sort of way I'd almost rather have read that he'd had the balls to tell her to Foxtrot Oscar and that he would carry on hunting.Prince Harry 'sells his £50,000 shooting rifles and gives up bloodsports to please wife Meghan Markle'. Conservationist Dr Jane Goodall said of Harry and his brother William: 'They hunt and shoot. But I think Harry will stop because Meghan doesn't like hunting.'
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Hunting for the table I find way more acceptable than hunting for sport. I know in parts of the US that's primarily what they do with the animals killed, but at this point I don't think they're really in a position to need to do that.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
I enjoy meat so can't take too strong a stand against killing animals, but it must be done to minimise their fear and suffering. What is utterly detestable is 'canned' hunting where the animals are bred for that purpose and then the 'brave hunter' stand on a raised platform in the middle of an enclosure and fires off until the animal is killed. Despicable behaviour of those who promote and profit from it, and those who pay to participate.
