These are the current airports in Russia so it is not one of them. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_a ... _in_Russia

Re: The Smokin' Hot Where On Earth Thread Mk III
I think it's time to put this one out of it's misery.
It is, or was, Tushino Airfield in north-west Moscow. Despite only having a grass runway, it was basically the first airfield in Moscow to be used by the military and Stalin would inspect his air force from there. It has now been built on and there is little trace of the original airfield.

Ex-A is not far out geographically. Khodynka, or Centralni as it is also known, is only a few miles away and has suffered a similar fate so I suggest that Ex-A has access to the nuclear button.

Not a good idea .... he's been seen drinking that lethal 'home brew' of his. I wouldn't trust him with the nuke button!so I suggest that Ex-A has access to the nuclear button.

Very kind T15. I have clearance to launch. Cape get the hell out of there you know my target if I had a chance. Actually you may be OK down south: LFPG 311100Z AUTO 07012KT 040V100 CAVOK 22/04 Q1020 TEMPO 08015G25KT.
And yes, just had a few drinkies with a very good Zimmy NR friend. The hooch has his approval. Went away with a small bottle for the road.
Just give me a sec to come up with something.

As usual only places I have been to. Not actually seen this building only ever stopped off for go juice at the airport. Three reasons (maybe more) to nuke this country as far as I am concerned.

Sorry CPTN but not with you on destination. However, don't think 'NK' is applicable to this.
Edit, looked up this: P'yongyang Airfield (NK) Me no think so.

Correct Sir, so there is reason one to nuke it. Name two more for this country.

No T15 but if you PM me I will give you a brilliant comment about that place when I was there from a certain Lady to my ex-wife.

Sorry no. Never did a fuel stop there always overnight. With the airline a six day layover
Edit for clue: The country has a famous lake.

Ian I am sure that you are going to get this one. But sorry, no. My Entebbe story is that I was blessed by the Pope there. Walking along a deserted road and he was on a visit going from A to B in his Popemobile. It was actually probably a mechanised hand in the dome that just waved crosses at five second intervals.
This country in the challenge has a very low population for Africa. The lake is not only famous but I believe is unique down here.
