Re: Chaos in Scotland.
Wee Jimmy Krankie is a very different politician from Chump, but she does share two or three characteristics.
One is that she lies frequently and disgracefully.
Another is that she flipflops like a fish in a boat.
Yet another is that she frequently contradicts herself. Often in the same paragraph, sometimes in the same sentence.
Just six days after her last micromanaging performance in the pygmy parliament, this afternoon she got on her back legs and issued a whole new set of rules and a very confusing set of dates for these reversals of policy. I listened to the bitch barking, while busy doing more productive stuff on the levers and pedals and wheel of a German tractor, and too busy to write notes.
Some take effect from the 29th of June; others from the 3rd of July; others from the 6th of July; others from the 10th of July; and yet others from the 13th of July; and yet more from the 15th of July.
Zero "science" behind any of those dates, of course. Just gobshite.
How the hell are the politicised nazionalized Polizei Schottland rozzers supposed to memorise and enforce such rapidly shifting sands of the rule of law?
There will be further changes, of course. Just like these previously unscheduled announcements cancel and modify and rearrange the announcements prior to this most recent one.
She's such a ****q. She's just shadowing BoJo the Wonderclown, but she's trying to cover her tracks by laying zig-zag time-tracks to obfuscate and to confuse.

I tried to listen to NS giving her daily update, but the tone of her voice was just too monotonous and boring.

Re: Chaos in Scotland.
The much-mooted idea of quarantining English visitors to Jockistan is amusing the headline writers greatly.
However, it’s indicative of the collective madness being exhibited in the UK during the pan(dem)ic.
The last time I transited through the Carter Bar Border post the only sign of civilisation is normally a stocky chap in a tweed pleated skirt strangling an octopus and being photographed by loads of Oriental tourists. So not much scope there for locking up Sassenachs until they’re well again?
Maybe Gretna Green would provide more scope for accommodation, if it’s not all booked up by honeymooners escaping the Biblical flood(s) in the Lake District, but that’s another thread!

I think that this banning of Englishmen is just to divert attention away from the fact that due to the SNPs fiscal incompetence the council tax is rising by up to 50% in Scotland. This is laid at the door of Westminster of course.

Re: Chaos in Scotland.
You've been reading the Daily Express or Record again, haven't you! COSLA winding everyone up again. The Express - who regularly forecast dire weather for Scotland and it never happens. Anything to sell newspapers, rarely the truth!
The helicopter pilots' mantra: If it hasn't gone wrong then it's just about to...

Don't get too 'relaxed', om. You don't know what might be going to happen in England! Local authorities will be a wee bit short of moolah and it has to come from somewhere.

Re: Useless information Part # 94...
If by this comment you’re referring to the good Jeff Taylor, perhaps a better insult might be used. Whether or not you dislike his visage and the deadpan delivery, he always seems to have done some research into his utterances as evidenced by the quotations from various official documents. Some of these writings are actually produced by our friends in the EUSSR so they must be true, mustn’t they...?
The word ‘gormless’ implies that one is suffering a lack of ‘gorm’ and searching for definitions of this produced some interesting results of which here is a fine example of thread drift;
