Are we not men?
With respect to the ladies here who are clearly not "men"...
I am tired of old men, but as I become tired of tedious old men, I become one myself. Invigorate yourselves you bastards. Ignore people like that old loser om15... (if he had any honour, he would kill himself in a freak motorcycle accident ). He has no honour. The truly vacuous old Englishman!
But what do we have as men?
I ask you? I ask that of myself! Are we not men?
?

Re: Are we not men?
WTF has OM15 done to upset you GG?, I do not understand...Have I missed something?
Despite falling far short of some aspirations in life, I've done some fantastical stuff,...and have a few fabulous people around me...have visited some great places, done some wonderful things....I know my life's experience to be far richer than many I know, (and many I do not know).
But I appreciate what I have (which is not a great deal compared to some others I know), and am grateful for it, and am mindful that it is far more than others I know.....Including my awkward new 'girlfriend' who still texts and snaps and messages me 15 times a day, but who now I think appreciates that I am actually married and faithful, unlike her ex Husband.
And I met an old friend in the local supermarket today and I said to him what about all those people in the Northern suburbs in the massive 'McMansions', that you work for?, they would take an hour to get to the beach, where we frequent, just a 7 minute drive for us....
I digress,...Life is good, not extravagantly wealthy, but not wanting for something to eat either.....and still 'clocking up' some wonderful experiences,....it's not all bad...

Charlie Chaplin got himself into a world of schitt with Hollywood for taking the piss out of America's fascism through the vehicle of taking the piss out of Hitler and Mussolini.
They never forgave him. He was practically an outlaw for the rest of his life and effectively banished.

EA01, Your comment puzzles me, I have the more tedious contributors on ignore, so have no idea what has caused your query, but I assume that I have been subject to the usual witless drunken jibe.
I find that this particular member considers himself the life and soul of the party, but like most drunks he comes across as a humorless bore (or boar), certainly with a most obvious drink and mental heath problem at least. There are enough intelligent and wise contributors to this forum with genuine humour that it is quite easy to use ignore to enjoy the conversations without missing anything.

The ignore button is a valuable tool.
I chose other pursuits after dark submitting to Morpheus by 10pm.

No, it is just a weakness. A true MAN should be able to read/not read and discard if needed any post he does not like. It is like sticking your fingers in your ears and going......................

Oh dear, just how much Sauvingon Blanc did I imbibe in the blackness of my heart and mind on Saturday?

Managed to resist the urge.
Re: Are we not men?
Out of curiosity I had a look at the post.
What a thoroughly unpleasant and strange thing to say, posts like this from a drunken weido do damage this generally pleasant forum.he would kill himself in a freak motorcycle accident

You should know, you are one of the most unpleasant people I have ever encountered in electronic form.
Let it be said that it if it had been anybody else here but you they would have got an apology from me for such a stupid outburst...

GG, some of your recent posts have become unpleasant and abusive and posting whilst under the influence of excess alcohol is no excuse. I believe you left this forum once, but returned under a new 'nom de plume', maybe you should consider a second departure.......

reporting abusive personal attacks to mods is useless.
