Looks good doesn't it?
SA could have if it wanted to...I can't remember what the ensign was when I last saw a SAN frigate about 45 or 50 years ago!

I was watching Rick and Morty, in Series 5, which, if you haven't watched, you should! But enough of that *****... I really dig Joe Walsh, and the Herbs.
But F@8k me... I didn't know that Joe had played with these New Zealanders...

Poor Joe - absolutely brilliant - sad his brain is fried like Keef's.
The Eagles (with Joe Walsh) were here a few years ago, but the flights to Auckland, accommodation and tickets would have needed a second mortgage! No South Island gig so that was that.

Great comedy! Rhys Darby as Psycho Sam in Hunt for the Wilderpeople was great. At 1.58.

Competition Commission Lets New Zealanders Down.
First fuel, now food: is our competition watchdog letting us down?
ANALYSIS: Retail consultant Nick Hogendijk believes most people wanted the Commerce Commission to give supermarket giants Countdown and Foodstuffs a walloping with a bit of ‘four-by-two’ on Tuesday.
But the steps the Commerce Commission has announced to bring down the price of fuel and groceries appear to have left more Kiwis wondering whether the competition watchdog is up to the job.
Rightly or wrongly, disgruntled shoppers were left unsatisfied by the final recommendations of its market study into the $22 billion groceries industry, Hogendijk says.
Those measures include moves to make more land available for new supermarkets and an appeal for Countdown and Foodstuffs to wholesale groceries to the likes of dairies and speciality shops.

We seem to have got them out of Cranmer Square - they must have found a pied piper! They were given until Thursday to leave or suffer the same fate as the Wellington mob. I think the residents must be delighted.

Re: New Zealand
It appears that the New Zealanders' honeymoon with Blessed Jacinda is heading for total disillusionment as things get worse in "Zero-Covidland";

The next general election, assuming she allows it to proceed, will hopefully allow the unfortunate inmates, sorry inhabitants, to make their opinion clear as to her leadership or lack thereof.

Re: New Zealand
BM - can you tie in inflation and its causes here in New Zealand (specifically) and 'Zero-Covidland' please? You know - things like huge increases in shipping costs etc etc.
I think if you read any press sources local to New Zealand you might get a clearer picture - zero-Covid was abandoned some time ago - we had 57 or 58 deaths during that period. How many were there in the UK during that period you keep referring to?
You're welcome to visit any time - it might surprise you how happy the inmates are here. Political parties go up or down in the public's opinion, as they do in a democracy, and at the moment the inmates don't favour Ardern so much. Now there is an effective opposition here, after a long period of useless opposition leaders. That's politics for you.

Re: New Zealand
Ah but, ah but, ah but, FD2 my B-i-L who lives in NZ informs Madame and I in a Skype call that of course it is a WELL KNOWN FACT that the toothy lady who appears on your TV screens is NOT JA!! She is a body double fronted up by the Gummint while the REAL JA is in permanent house arrest!! Who knew? Oh and all doctors are purely there to take money from poor people to fund the underlying conspiracy of paedophiles led by Hilary Clinton who connect to NZ by an Under Pacific tunnel to bend everyone to their will. Who knew that either??
Doctors are with Big Pharma as well (of course). Oh except when he had a prostate cancer scare which those evil MDs sorted for him!
This chap was an officer in the RAF in UK, has a double first in electronic engineering and was personnel director of a large UK life assurance company before becoming an alternative therapist in NZ. And he believes all the shite that QAnon put out, unquestioningly.
I find him impossible to talk to.
