Fine day with a couple of puffy clouds, currently 25C, forecast is 31C. Humidity was 100% at 0600, with thin fog. Went for a good walk early, before it heated up.

It may stop Friday morning.

Just as well I like snow!

..and it will keep the election candidates away ;)))

Morning folks. Another fine day. Met my new doctor yesterday he was exactly on time :YMPARTY: I think that my doctor had spoken to him and said that if he wasn't I would just go to the pub. Really nice guy, he said that he liked my sense of humour, has to be a nice guy. He prodded and poked me which I complained about, nursie told me to shut up. He says nothing seriously wrong but wants me to see a cardiologist. Only available one day a month. What is the betting we will be up in the Delta or in Greece. He seems to think that it is not urgent.

Always good to get the facts, Ex-A; hope an appointment can be fitted in conveniently for you. Hope you're keeping reasonable 'elf and strength meanwhile.

Mrs H had to see the rheumatologist today, following up on her last visit & treatment 3 months ago. She & he are both reasonably happy, and he was especially pleased that she scrupulously does the exercises given by the physiotherapist for her shoulder, which he endorses. The cortisone injection in her hip for bursitis worked, (she knew that) and he says that her hips are better than usual for a woman (quite a bit) over 65. All up, not a bad report.

The Ides of March and I have to scrape the ice off my car so that I can drive to work :-o

EK21, DXB-MAN has popped into Perry Oaks for a visit, unsure why?
Apologies for the aviation content.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Its 12c, heading for 23c this afternoon. Blue sky day again.

Just removing marmalade from the keyboard.

Sausage and mash with Co-op baked beans tonight.

Snow storm has developed an unforecast quiet bit in the middle overnight, roughly 100nm across and centred chez moi.
The storm is now stationary and rotating around this centre.
So, I have a bare inch or two of snow and little wind, instead of being Ground Zero for Snowmageddon.

1. A distant fog-bank lurks on the horizon.

2. What, I ask myself, is the actual use of "imitation greaseproof paper"?

It's for dieters to wrap imitation cakes in.

So, does it consist of imitation grease, or is it not really greaseproof, or is it a paper substitute?
or, as they say:
(d) All of the above

Not if the imitation cakes don't have real grease!

Mild and dry.
Sprayed my back with Deep Heat. Drove wife from bedroom. Instructions say don't breathe it in, but hard not to. Would be perfect defensive spray if intruders ever broke in.
