Greetings,
17c and a mere 19c from the stones, Dome

Have been to the Vampire this morn, Normally there is three or four staff one for the paperwork, one doing the stabbing, one keeping track of the appointments etc.
Today just Eva, and was she slow .....
Still done now must get an appointment for the telling off.

10/15 for the morning.

I have about a month wood supply from last winter. The A/C is sufficient at present.

Good Day everyone, managed to give the grass a little trim, definitely the last time this season, obviously a few neighbours had the same idea, as I can hear a few lawnmowers in action.
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Cleared up now a nice evening. We hope to get the grass cut tomorrow. Rains have started but should be a dry day. Then spring fertilizer.

A bat has decided to move from all it's mates in the eves of the veranda to my table. It is hanging on it's head. Hope that it is OK. The last one that moved down here died.

It must be a pain always hanging upside down.

I presume that they fly the right way up . . . ?

A cold and breezy nightwalk for me, urbanisation deserted, few lights on, cats and cars not to be seen.

Good morning: overcast, chilly, on the point of drizzling.

11/15 in this morning's quiz: https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/quizze ... ber-8-2023

8/15 is today's score. Today was supposed to be an appointment for a bone density scan, however, my DIL, who was going to drive me to the clinic came
down with COVID last Friday, the appointment was remade for the 16th. Seems most of my outside contacts are slowly becoming health professionals.

To town shortly to pay several bills, obtain yet more cash from the bank, visit several shops, and go foraging at the supermarket.

It rains.

Errands accomplished.
The busker was buskering at the shopping-centre again, sounded most pleasant.
Bought more strorberries, will have some with cream later.

It rains.

Morning folks. Grass cutting started 06.15. It is going to take him all morning.

Cracking day but no rain. Hand it over Karearea.

7th

Late checking in with quiz results as I had a 500 mile round trip to return D#1 to school after her ride back went MIA due to personal issues.
Only saving grace was that her one class today was canceled so no rush.

Bit the bullet and traded my 5yo laptop in on a bigger better spec'd one. So much image processing software is including AI, which chews up processing power. Very easy to transfer everything over (once I'd parted with money, of course), but still haven't got the geriatric printer working. I suspect I may have to download a driver again.

I'm up in the tiny attic space above the kitchen again, replacing the nasty old insulation and adding new.
I haven't had so much fun since being on the wrong end of 'Prisoner Handling' on Escape and Evasion training.
The stress positions are basically the same.
However, the house is a degree warmer, noticeably so, this morning, so I have some encouragement to complete the job.
