Thanks for best wishes for Mrs OFSO. She stayed in bed sleeping. Rest of flat icy cold as all doors open for ventilation purposes as new pipework brazed in place.

We have cremation date for isolationist relative who has just died in France. It's not a 'next day" business as in Spain where body is buried or burned while still warm. We won't be going.

I see that the SAR S92 helicopter from Sumburgh was airborne from Stronsay airfield about 30 minutes ago and looks to be on a direct track to either ABZ or Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I trust our Stronsay correspondent is fit and well.

It wasn't me. You won't get rid of me as easily as that.

k3k3 - sorry to hear about Puzzel. She had a hard start to life but ended up in a happy place being well-loved.

I am about to go to her favourite place in the flower bed between the rose bush and red lipped sage and make a place for her to be comfortable for the last time.

It is done. Carefully wrapped in soft cotton cloth with roses printed on it.

It has helped to be able to write a little about her.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts, even though we only know a little about each other the words make a difference.
