Much sympathy, T15. I hope the coming years are kind to you.

Wife up all night with Norovirus symptoms. Obviously caught from me so I feel very guilty.

Mine was there and gone in a couple of hours. Not hers.

Morning folks. Safari camp for a few beers. If they have any. The fridge was empty by the time we left on Sunday. We will take our own as a preclusion. Change of scenery.

Good Morning All

14°c, Nearly Dome some scattered
19°c predicted by the runes
All sorts of mayhem for the weekend, won’t happen of course.
But AEMET is firming up on Rain through the weekend.

It seems, to the great amusement of Mrs Dentist and her Nurse that I went to sleep while having two fillings.

Prices up now 50€ per filling.

Nothing planned, a trip to Nerja for Grants is all.

Grants is our local bakery and patisserie.

Excellent products but not cheap.

In this instance I refer to the whisky blenders.

k3k3 - my sympathies. You did the right thing and gave Puzzel a lovely life.
Tango15 - wow... I do hope you can find something to make you smile. That's a tough hand to deal with.
OFSO - that's a brutal diet.
Ascot - brutal. I do hope justice is done and your friend does recover.

Reddo, I forgot to mention that she took her walking stick to them before they took her down. We will see her tomorrow she is staying with her daughter here.

Polish plumber installing new heating. Quiet and consequent worker.

Thanks for best wishes for Mrs OFSO. She stayed in bed sleeping. Rest of flat icy cold as all doors open for ventilation purposes as new pipework brazed in place.

We have cremation date for isolationist relative who has just died in France. It's not a 'next day" business as in Spain where body is buried or burned while still warm. We won't be going.

C'est la vie, mes amis.....

I see that the SAR S92 helicopter from Sumburgh was airborne from Stronsay airfield about 30 minutes ago and looks to be on a direct track to either ABZ or Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. I trust our Stronsay correspondent is fit and well.

I am about to go to her favourite place in the flower bed between the rose bush and red lipped sage and make a place for her to be comfortable for the last time.
It is done. Carefully wrapped in soft cotton cloth with roses printed on it.

It has helped to be able to write a little about her.

Thank you for all the kind thoughts, even though we only know a little about each other the words make a difference.
