Very nice John. Clearly a lot of work has gone into refurbishing and maintaining those exhibits, and it shows.

Simply curiosity, not criticism, but why the short opening hours?

What T15 said, the condition looks better than many volunteer-run aviation museums. Well done.

Getting volunteers to cover can be a challenge in a small town but it is something we should review.

We can be somewhat flexible in our hours and if you happen to be in town just give me a call as I have a key... :YMPARTY:

Thanks, sometimes we acquire aircraft that are in flying condition but at end of life for one reason or another but there are several we rebuilt or assembled from veritable kits of parts.

Thanks, John. If I ever get that far again, I will certainly visit. I can relate to the hours/staffing problem, because a good friend of mine (sadly now in the big hangar in the sky), was a leading light at Dumfries Air Museum, and faced similar problems, for the same reason. The Avro Museum on the old airfield at Woodford is more fortunate, in being on the edge of a large conurbation, and a considerable team of former employees.
