Morning folks.

Early morning nursing duties done for Mrs 4ma - pills and a mug of tea. A few outdoor jobs to do before Thor's Hammer arrives (at least that's what the weather guessers are saying).

Wonder who the alleged naughty "BBC star" is - plenty to choose from. :-?

Indeed - hours of fun playing 'Spot who isn't there'. :)) Should keep the internet buzzing for a while.

Evening all, good day at the dog show. Up near the coast at Ferndale, so it's cloudy and 10-15C. Cassini had his first big boy show and performed well, despite a nearby pneumatic drill. Faraday got an owner handled group 4 placement, and added to her FastCAT score.
Well done, pooches, especially ignoring the drill. D1's old Newfie was terrified of the freezer monster.

Well, the funder (no, lightning) has rolled over, and the rain has stopped, but Silverstone seems to have its own microclimate, so anything could happen.

A very bad afternoon with booze boats. Have lost count of how many. Black bastards.

Lots of denials, but previous ('guilty') presenters (such as Schofield) have denied their guilt when confronted, so that proves nothing.

I think that's called the Mandy Rice-Davies defence.

Had to look this up.
How is it his (whoever he is) fault that their "sweet little child" turned into a crack skank? :-?

SEX PICS PROBE Top BBC star taken off air after ‘paying teenager for sexual pictures’

https://www.thesun.co.uk/tv/22978239/bb ... -pictures/

A TOP BBC star is off air while allegations he paid a teenager for sexual pictures are being investigated.

The well-known presenter is accused of giving the teen more than £35,000 since they were 17 in return for sordid images.

The alleged recipient’s mother said they had used the cash to fund a crack habit.

She added of the star: “When I see him on telly, I feel sick.

“I blame this BBC man for destroying my child’s life.

"Taking my child’s innocence and handing over the money for crack cocaine that could kill my child.”

Last night the presenter, a familiar face who is known to millions, was off air while the BBC investigate the mother’s bombshell claims.

The family complained to the BBC about his behaviour on May 19 and begged them to make the man “stop sending the cash”.

They had discovered that their child has been using the money to fund their spiralling addiction to crack cocaine.

The furious mother told last night how her child had gone from “a happy-go-lucky youngster to a ghost-like crack addict” in just three years.

They approached The Sun, making it clear they wanted no payment.

The mother said: “All I want is for this man to stop paying my child for sexual pictures and stop him funding my child’s drug habit.”

She told how her child, now 20, had shown her an online bank statement that had numerous deposits from the star.

Holding back tears, she added: “There were huge sums, hundreds, or thousands of pounds at a time.

“One time he had sent £5,000 in one lump. The money had been in exchange for sexually explicit photographs of my child.”

Sleazy messages are alleged to have started in 2020, when the youngster was 17.

The family say the BBC presenter never hid his identity and even sent pictures of himself at work.

She said she was told the star requested “performances” and, heartbreakingly, her child said they would “get their bits out”.

Last night a spokesman for the BBC said: “We treat any allegations very seriously and we have processes in place to proactively deal with them.

"As part of that, if we receive information that requires further investigation or examination, we will take steps to do this.

“That includes actively attempting to speak to those who have contacted us in order to seek further detail and understanding of the situation.”

He added: “If, at any point, new information comes to light or is provided — including via newspapers — this will be acted upon appropriately, in line with internal processes.”

Watery sun finding its way through the cloud now after a damp start; presently 6.8°C looking for 10°C.

Out earlier; noticed a large brown and white Springer Spaniel being taken for walkies. Very handsome dog.

Replaced the little 15w bulb in the living-room salt-lamp. This is a hollow hemisphere of Himalayan salt, piled with 18 chunks of the pink salt. It gives a lovely sunset glow to the room.
The other salt-lamp is a 15" high heavy rough block of salt in the kitchen.
They are both on all the time I'm awake and at home.

I assert no healing properties to it at all, I simply observe that the headaches to which I had been subject for decades disappeared never to return after I got the first salt-lamp.

Morning folks. Perhaps your bees are with our bats OFSO. All gorn.

Hope today is a bit quieter on the lagoon. It usually is on a Sunday as people have to drive home.

Nice day. Safari camp at lunchtime. Think that they may have people there today.

Sunday morning, grey, the air full of pent up, but thwarted, storm fury as we have had little rain here despite all the ominous looking clouds.

Realised that I have undertaken 6 hours driving over the last two days, including the mother of all traffic jams at the Dartford tunnel, where one pays a French company to be inconvenienced, (only the British could contrive such a fiasco), to do 2 hours egg beating.

Another 30% day which means nothing is likely to happen weatherwise...

Very sad indeed. One more stage win would have given him the record I think. As one who could never sprint, I have to admire someone who can do so after a couple of hundred Km.

Just heard that a dear cousin's wife passed away in Auckland a few hours ago.
Most unexpected and sad.

I see that the good naked burghers of Cardiff outraged their Muslim neighbours with their annual nude bicycle ride... more summer heat madness from the Brits...

We don’t need foreign slackers, we’ve got plenty of our own :)) :))
When all else fails, read the instructions.
