Yet you find time to kibbitz about things here that you know not.
As we say around here, "Bless your heart..."
Yet you find time to kibbitz about things here that you know not.
and by no means alone, eh Brick?to kibbitz about things here that you know not.
Best be prepared and get a few more guns and ammo.
Like the Vandals with the Franks you saw, conquered and came!

I realized four years ago, when I still slayed over there before my airline retirement, that San Francisco has squandered its luster and is rapidly descending into the cesspit occupied by so many other Democrat ruled cities.
That such a once beautiful city should be reduced to its current condition tugs at my heart. But they elected Nancy Pelosi forever. Now come the consequences.
I had the pleasure of working in Dallas for a year and liked the people, the climate and the food.
I echo your take, TheGreenGoblin. I lived two years in Fort Worth, close to Dallas. I was a young USAF 2nd Lieutenant stationed at Carswell AFB in Ft. Worth, a half hour drive to downtown Dallas, where we tended to go on our nights out. Dallas offered everything good - barbecue, steaks, Tex-Mex culinary delights. That was 1974-76. In all my days I've never had better steak, barbecue, or Mexican cuisine than then. The cherry on top was how our Texan neighbors and friends respected the soldiers among them. I benefited a lot from that sentiment and to this day hold a bond with the people of Texas that share the American dream with me. Texas is the core of America.I had the pleasure of working in Dallas for a year and liked the people, the climate and the food.
I found the Texans I met to be straight up and down. You generally knew where you stood with them and generally they were hospitable to this foreigner. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Dallas.BenThere wrote: ↑Fri Mar 27, 2020 6:39 pmI echo your take, TheGreenGoblin. I lived two years in Fort Worth, close to Dallas. Likely because GM were procrastinating ,regarding making them not only for the US but also for the benefit many other Countries that urgently need them.
